ME: Yes.
HIM: Do they really kill a mockingbird?
ME: No.
HIM: Does anyone get killed?
ME: Yes.
HIM: Why do they call it that?
ME: It’s an analogy.
(pause)
HIM: Does someone at least turn into a mockingbird?
